  18-----Girl Scout Movie Day, PHV, AAFES Theater, 1500.  Free for Heidelberg Girl Scouts, please pre-register CLICK HERE.  AAFES will have a $2.00 popcorn/drink special. Girl Scouts from adjoining communities, parents, siblings, and friends are welcome and encouraged to attend. No need to pre-register, pay regular admission at the checkout.

09----(NON GSUSAHD Event) Red Cross Babysitter Course, PHV Scout Hut, one-story,  Cost $35.00. Please contact the Red Cross at DSN 370-1760 or civ. 06221-57-1760.  You must register and pay at the Heidelberg Shopping Center Office before the day of class and slots are limited. 

09----(NON GSUSAHD Event) Sewing with Girl Scout Fabric, Arts & Crafts, PHV, Cost $35.00 

13-----New Volunteer Orientation (NVO), PHV Scout Hut, one-story conference room, 1700-1745.  Course includes Girl Scout principles and goals; USA Girl Scouts in a overseas setting; structure of your local Girl Scout community; job responsibilities; resources; setting up the troop; working with parents/parent meetings; planning the first troop meetings; and troop finances. This training is the first for ANY registered adult in Girl Scouts.  Please contact Christine Hennessey at 06202-6070155 or OCCHeidelberg@aol.com to RSVP. 

13-----Troop Leader Meeting, PHV Scout Hut, one-story, 1800.  Free babysitting is provided for troop leaders.  All registered adults are encouraged to attend. Parents and volunteers are always welcome. Come learn about Girl Scouts and have fun at the same time!  

16----OPS Check of Camping Gear, PHV Scout Hut Garages with Hut Manager, 0900.  Excellent way for Girl Scouts to get their service hours and it will also be beneficial for all our troops.  The OCMT plans to put in a grant for more Camping Gear, which troops can sign out "free of charge" from the Hut Manager, but we need to check what we have.  This is also a chance for Leaders to make "camping needs" suggestions.

07----OCMT Meeting, PHV Scout Hut, one-story, conference room, 1800.

09-11----Annual Learning Conference (ALC), Edelweiss Lodge and Resort in Garmisch, Germany.  (Sponsored by USAGSO, USA Girl Scouts - Overseas, North Atlantic)  ALC is a fun and educational three-day residential learning designed to meet the training needs of our diverse adult membership. Courses include management and personal development workshops; programmatic workshops for troop leaders/advisors, parents and other interested volunteers as well as workshops with and international focus. This conference offers a variety of workshops designed to enhance volunteer effectiveness in program delivery and administration. Join us for this unique adult education opportunity.
